ECW Original 911 is one of the pioneers of both the Extreme wrestling movement and popularizing the chokeslam as a finisher. This Jersey Shore native won the PWI Rookie of the Year Award in 1993 for his exploits in ECW as a member of the Dangerous Alliance. By 1995 he was one of ECW's most popular stars, as fans would take to loudly "calling 911" by chanting his name when any of their favorite wrestlers were in trouble and order needed to be restored.  911's time in ECW would see him team with Rey Mysterio, battle Taz and deliver famous chokeslams to Bill Alfonso and even Santa Claus. In 1996 911 joined WCW under the Tombstone and would compete there for about two years, including challenging the Giant (better known today as The Big Show) for the WCW title on an episode of Nitro in 1997.

Although technically retired from the ring wars, 911 arrived in AWESOME for a Night of Legends and Champions in 2008, where he was one of the many Legends in attendance to meet and greet our AWESOME Jersey Shore fans. During the event Radical Robby Morrison faced Mark Modest in an "I Quit" match and during the bout Morrison and his Commune handcuffed Modest's hands behind his back. The handcuffed Modest was locked in an ankle lock with no way to escape, yet he still refused to submit in front of his hometown Toms River fans; at which point the fans of AWESOME decided to once again "dial 911" and to the sound of a roaring chant of his name 911 would come out to restore order by delivering thunderous chokeslams to both Morrison and his manager Taylor Nicole allowing Modest to escape from the cuffs and secure a victory. The Legend then informed Commissioner Joe Rules that if AWESOME were to ever need an enforcer again he would be available to answer the call.
