Known for his love of rock music, Ryan Blackhart debuted in AWESOME at Cruel Summer 2008 against Playboy Vik Voorhees. Once established on the AWESOME roster, Blackhart convinced long time friend Cam Shaft to return to AWESOME as a crowd favorite and the duo formed the tag team known as the Rock N Shock Injection. Soon thereafter the two large veterans took a liking to fun loving rookie cruiserweight Drew Jersey and the duo formed a popular three man stable the fans dubbed the Guitar Heroes. The trio has had great success in AWESOME with a victory over a trio captained by ROH star Cloudy and very competatative match against a team captained by former WWE World Tag Team Champion Spirit Squad Mikey.
