WWE Legend Salvatore Sincere first broke onto the national scene in the early 1990's in WCW under the name Johnny Gunn where he formed a tag team with Z-Man that was sometimes referred to as the Hunk Squad. Later, as Gunn, Sincere made his way to the short lived, but nationally syndicated, AWF; where he once again a stand out tag team competitor, this time alongside Jim Powers.
It was in 1996 that Sincere made his WWE debut under the name that would make him a legend. Showing a new-found disdain for the crowd that would stick with him for the rest of his career, Sincere had much early success in the WWE. He appeared on a team of all young stars at the 1996 Survivor Series and a month later battled the Rock on Pay Per View. He also once main-evented an episode of Monday Night Raw against the Undertaker. Sincere also had a memorable feud with Marc Mero over the affections of Sable in 1997.
Sincere's stint with the WWE came to an end in 1998 and he's been competing on the independent circuit ever since. He arrived in AWESOME at the Summer Heat 2008 event where he unexpectedly aligned himself with the Commune and promptly issued an open challenge to any wrestler from New Jersey. That challenge was accepted by Fred Sampson (the man who would go on to become WWE Superstar Darren Young of the Nexus). Sincere was victorious via shady manipulations and the Italian native vows to continue to prove the inferiority of Jersey's wrestlers.
