"The Bonescrusher" Fred Sampson is one of the most powerful men to ever lace up boots in AWESOME. At over 240 lbs of pure muscle Sampson has competed in WWE on numerous occassions against such foes as Val Venis, Charlie Haas and the Heart Throbs as well as serving as a bodyguard for Kurt Angle in early 2006.
Sampson arrived in AWESOME in 2008 when he answered WWE Legend Sal Sincere's open challenge to any wrestler from New Jersey. While the physical contest ended with Sampson being disqualified, he remains a crowd favorite and top contender here in AWESOME. Sampson was most recently ranked in the 2009 PWI 500 under his alternate ring name Frederick of Hollywood.
On Feb. 16, 2010 it was announced by WWE that Sampson would be competing on their new program NXT under the ring name Darren Young where he will paired up with former World Champion CM Punk..
