Fun loving "Pizza Boy" Johnny Calzone debuted in AWESOME in 2009 as the protege of Athena Cage, who was looking for someone to take up her cause in her battle with Taylor Nicole and the nefarious hi-jinx of The Commune. At 6' tall and over 270 lbs. Calzone is one of the larger competitors here in AWESOME and uses his size to control opponnents. While his initial bid against Commune leader Radical Robby Morrison at Bedlam on the Battleship was unsuccessful, Calzone soon formed a team with another large newcomer to AWESOME: Big Bear Boreselli and the duo has been thus far undefeated in tag team action here in AWESOME.
