 The runt of the world famous Dudley litter, Spike Dudley has been a main stay of televised pro wrestling since 1997 when he debuted in the original ECW to feud with half-brother D-Von. Always undersized Spike nonetheless rose up the ranks of ECW through extraordinary heart and determination. In 1998 he defeated former ECW World Champion Bam Bam Bigelow and then in a iconic moment in ECW history found himself press slammed from the ring into the fifth crowd by the angry Beast from the East. Spike used the notoriety to spend the next year earning a reputation as a "giant killer" and would defeat numerous world famous superheavyweights including Mabel (aka Viscera), Kamala, One Man Gang, and PN News. Spike would paraly his status as a giant killer into a title shot against ECW World Champion Mike Awesome in a match would headline the January 2000 Guilty As Charged Pay Per View. Spike also captured the ECW tag team titles on two occassions in 1999 with Balls Mahoney as his partner by defeating his legendary half-brothers Buh Buh Ray and D-Von in a series of matches so Extreme the feud ended with a flaming tables match!


Spike remained a mainstay in ECW until the promotion shut its doors in March 2001 at which time he was one of only five ECW wrestlers to be retained by WWE, where he once again joined forces with his brothers and soon started a romance with Molly Holly. In WWE Spike was even more undersized than in ECW and yet he enjoyed a five year run in the company that would see him capture the Tag Team Titles with Tazz, the European Title from William Regal and the Cruiserweight Title from Rey Mysterio. He would also receive a title shot at World Champion HHH and WWE Champion JBL during his time with the company.


Upon departing WWE in June 2006 Spike once again followed his brothers to TNA where he would spend a year competing under the name Brother Runt and enjoyed feuds against former TNA champions Abyss and Raven.


In January 2007 Spike came to AWESOME to compete in the Championship of AWESOME tournament at the One Year Anniversary Show. Spike would defeat Lord Jasin Karloff in the first round and Jay Blaze in the second round before losing to Falah (at the time Franciz) in finals under Extreme Rules. Spike's participation in the AWESOME tournament was subsequently mentioned during his ranking that year in the PWI 500.
