Known as America's Hero, the Patriot has represented the Good Ol USA across the world for close to 20 years. Patriot made his pro wrestling debut in 1991 on ESPN's Global Wrestling where, as a rookie, he became the promotion's top champion and was then awarded Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Rookie of the Year and Inspiration Wrestler of the Year awards.

Patriot then surfaced in WCW in 1993 where he formed the tag team Stars & Stripes with Buff Bagwell and the duo captured the WCW tag team titles on two occassions in 1994. Patriot would depart WCW in 1995 to compete internationally. He returned to America in 1997 when he joined the WWE (at the time WWF) and within a month of his debut main evented the Sept 97 Pay Per View by challenging Hall of Famer Bret Hart for the WWE Championship.

Patriot departed WWE about a year later to get closer to all his American fans by touring the country on the independent scene for the past decade. Patriot was in the main event of the very first AWESOME show when he defeated Travis Blake. He returned to AWESOME in 2008 to answer Steve Camacho's open challenges to any American wrestler and end the Latin Star's one year undefeated streak. As he continues to tour America one never knows when that tour will once again bring Patriot back to the Jersey Shore and AWESOME.
